Young at Heart & Mind

You know those moments when it hits you that there is so much for which to be thankful? I had one of those moments today.

Something I saw triggered it, and I am not going to attempt to describe the moment because it would seem so insignificant. However, I know in that moment, I was overwhelmed with thankfulness.

It led my mind on a train of thought jumping from one thing to the next. Thinking of both small and large blessings that I know are from God.

This is being young at heart and mind. Having a grateful spirit.

Young at heart and mind – not being weighed down by negative things that happen in our lives. We keep the right perspective on those things. It means we don’t live in fear.

Young at heart and mind – not being consumed with worry or anxiety that we live within those emotions and let them control our lives.

Young at heart and mind – living with joy, peace, hope, freedom and love.

So much to be thankful for.

Psalm 34:1-3 (NLT) “I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. I will boast only in the LORD; let all who are helpless take heart. Come, let us tell of the LORD’s greatness; let us exalt his name together.
